Woman Passes Away After Doctor Ignores Her While Watching Reels at UP Hospital

Shocking incident at Mainpuri District Hospital – a 60-year-old woman, Pravesh Kumari, died after suffering a heart attack while being ignored by the on-duty doctor, Dr Adarsh Sengar, as he wasted critical time by watching videos on his mobile phone instead of attending to the patient.

Kumari was brought to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, but her family alleges that the doctor failed to attend to her for nearly 15 minutes, which he spent watching videos on his phone.

Despite many requests for assistance, Dr. Sengar allegedly directed a nurse to handle the matter while he stayed focused on his phone. As Kumari’s situation got worse, her family became desperate and begged the doctor to help. The family’s concern grew after the woman began coughing up blood. Tragically, she died while still on a hospital stretcher.

Video went viral

The situation worsened when Kumari’s son, Guru Sharan Singh, challenged the doctor. During a heated dispute, Dr. Sengar allegedly smacked Singh, causing the family to charge him. The incident was recorded on CCTV and has now gone viral, causing uproar. Police were dispatched to quell the scene.
