Mumbai local (Central Railway) to hold a 6-hour megablock on January 25-26, check routes.

The Central Railway is imposing a six-hour massive block near CSMT station for important Carnac Bridge reconstruction work, which will cause major disruptions to Mumbai’s suburban train services. This was updated DRM Mumbai CR on Friday.

Between January 25 and 26, commuters should be ready for changes to their travel schedule.

Routes affected

Mumbai suburban services to and from CSMT may not be available during the mega block period, between 11:30 pm and 5:30 am.

Suburban services will remain closed between the main line, i.e., UP and DOWN SLOW and FAST lines between Byculla and CSMT. The services will not be available during the megablock. UP and DOWN Harbour lines between Vadala Road and CSMT will also remain nonfunctional during the megablock.
