Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra Ties the Knot with Himani Mor

Two-time Olympic medalist and ace javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra got married to Himani Moron Sunday. The medalist shared this good news on Instagram by posting pictures and captioning it by saying, “Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after”.  This announcement has left Neeraj’s fans awestruck. The 26-year-old double Olympic medalist, who last competed in Brussels in the Diamond League Final in September, will spend 31 days in South Africa.

Who is Himani Mor?

Himani Mor is Neeraj’s wife, a 25-year-old tennis player from Sonipat, Haryana. She competed for Delhi University at the national level before attending the 2017 World University Games in Taipei. Mor is currently a student at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire to pursue a master’s degree in sports management (major).

 Neeraj Chopra’s achievements

Chopra became the first Asian javelin thrower to win a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics. After his victory in 2023, he became the first Asian to win a gold medal in the javelin at the World Championships. In every significant competition, Chopra has taken home a medal.
