BCCI names players for Champions Trophy and ODI Series 2025

The BCCI on Saturday announced the fifteen-member squad for the ODI series against England from February 6. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who did not play for a long time in the field because of a back injury, has been excluded from the series, though, he has been included in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 team’s squad.

Which players are out of the series

Rohit Sharma will be the captain in the upcoming ODI series, while Shubman Gill will be the vice-captain. Mohammed Shami, who participated in the ODI World Cup 2023 final, will also play this time. Mostly players from the previous ODI series have been retained for the upcoming one which includes Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Kuldeep Yadav while the pacer Mohammed Siraj has been excluded.
