Siddhivinayak Temple Bans Torn Jeans, Short Clothes: Only ‘Indian Attire’ Allowed

Published:

The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust (SSGTT) has stated that visitors should dress traditionally Indian throughout their visit to the Temple. On Tuesday, the trust issued a dress code that prohibits pilgrims from wearing short skirts or exposing apparel.

The clothing code decision was taken in response to concerns about devotees’ ‘inappropriate’ attire.

About the Order

The dress code at Siddhivinayak temple will be enforced starting next week. Devotees aren’t allowed to wear revealing or inappropriate clothing, including trousers with cuts or torn fabric, short skirts, or clothing that exposes body parts, according to SSGTT.
