Pune Guillain-Barré Syndrome Outbreak: Maharashtra reports first suspected death

The Maharashtra health department stated on Sunday that there are 100 cases of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) in Pune, with 26 and 47 of those cases being in women, despite one suspected death being recorded in Solapur. Fourteen of these are on ventilator support, an official said.

Six new suspected cases of the rare neurological condition Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) have been reported from Pune, according to officials.
