Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with knife an unidentified person around 2:30 am on Thursday when the actor was sleeping in his house along with his other family members. Police said the robber fled from the scene after occupants of the house woke up, and police are trying to trace him.
Saif Ali Khan is out of danger
After the attack, the actor was taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a surgery at 5:30 a.m. According to latest updates, Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery, and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
The actor’s team has issued a statement, reporting that all family members are safe, while asking the fans to be patient. The police are investigating the incident.

A statement issued by the actress’s team, said: “There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night.”
“Saif had an injury on his arm for which is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine.
