Kumbh Mela breaking records with 3.5 crore devotees on Makar Sankranti

Kumbh Mela is the biggest event of the year 2025. A holy dip was taken by 3.5 crore devotees on Makar Sankranti, says Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Maha Kumbh is enjoying the spotlight not only from India but from all over the world. Videos are going viral on social media of the foreigner devotees who are seen chanting mantras and taking part in the rituals. Today is the third day of the Shahi Snan (holy bath).

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh, has handled every aspect of the Maha Kumbh Mela. He also claimed that 3.5 crore people attended the event in the last two days, which is unprecedented worldwide.
